Michelle and I made the most of Labour Day on Monday, dragging ourselves out of bed at the crack of dawn to do some fishing. 🎣🐟 We enjoyed a stunning morning with Rangitoto in the distance, filled the bucket and took home some delicious snapper. Nothing like fresh fish! 😋🌅 It’s one of those moments that reminds you how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful part of the world. ❤️

It’s been a busy couple of weeks at Milford Bowling Club, with Business House Bowls now well underway. 🎳 Two weeks in and it’s already been a cracker on the green, with a great turnout, plenty of competition and, of course, plenty of laughs, check out some pics below in Community news.👇We also had the Westlake Old Boys 'Westlakers" get-together at Milford Bowling Club, with a fantastic turnout of past Westlakers. Always great to see everyone back together, and there was certainly no shortage of banter and competitive spirit! 🏆#Swansup 🦢
It was also a pretty special weekend for my old primary school, Milford School, which celebrated its 100 Year Reunion on Friday afternoon and Saturday. 🏫 Beautiful weather, a fantastic turnout and an incredible amount of work behind the scenes made it a wonderful celebration of an awesome school and all the generations of families who have been part of it. A pretty special milestone!🎉🏫
